We held the two side by side, and they were equally clear, but the diamond definitely had more rainbowy sparkles. The sapphire seems to practically glow in the dark, but I forgot to take a picture of itwhen it was dark-dark this morning. It has like, an icy blue undertone, and it doesn’t seem as clear and sparkly. This was taken at under florescent lighting. I would recommend seeing it in person, or you might be disappointed. Other white sapphires from Zales were really cloudy and milky. However, you should know that this is just a really good quality stone. Originally, the ring was $120, including matching earrings and a necklace, but it was a little over $500 after getting it reset and sized. I fell in love with it instantly!
